Born in the Bronx, Young Phenom started listening to music at a young age, his passion for the music grew and grew until he was 13. He was introduced to a producer/lyricist named Ez threw his older sister which taught him how to make beats via Fl Studio software. After making beats for a couple of months Young Phenom started free-styling to the beats while he was making them, sooner or later he bought a little cheap microphone so he could record what he was free-styling. By age 14 the free-styling grew to writing and then he started recording some of his first songs. By age 15 he decided to expand his creativity and bought a mbox2 with Pro Tools and a more professional microphone. After all this work by himself he decided to produce for other artists such as Peoples, Focuz and Sincere and the list of artists he was producing for just kept growing. He is now working on his debut album Youngest in Charge which will hit the streets on March 14, 2008. In the near future Young Phenom would like to start his own record label Phenomenal Records so he could show the music business that the young are the next generation of music.
